The frank
A better hot dog starts long before the grill.
We know every animal, every farm and every hand behind our franks. Our meat comes from member farms raising to standards we set together. We grind, season and smoke it ourselves with nothing artificial. You can taste the difference.
Quality you can trust. Local and independent.
We built an entire private food system, the Local Meat Club, to keep our food free of chemicals and free of Wall Street. Become a member and get our franks, grassfed beef, raw milk, raw butter, organic pastured eggs and more delivered to your door every week.

The family behind the frank
Made by our family, for your family.
Tyrone and Marcella Jackson started the Local Meat Club with their four homeschooled children and two families who wanted food they could trust. Today it feeds nearly 300 member families throughout Central Ohio. The Good Frank carries that same promise of chemical-free food and family-centered wellbeing from our private farms to your neighborhood.
Beyond food, we are committed to educating youth about entrepreneurship, personal responsibility and the American cultural heritage.
Marcella and Tyrone are also the authors of Emplowerment: The Way of the Plow, the philosophy behind everything we build.

YOUTH POWERED.
Real work. Real customers. A real world education.
The Good Frank is also a school, and the work is the classroom. Young people from our neighborhoods learn by doing: making the product, pricing it, selling it, leading a team, and earning a profit. They learn life and community changing skills on the path to earning a cart of their own. That's Emplowerment, our model for raising producers, not just consumers.
